This beautiful residential remodel in Marfa, Tx. included a dry sauna, cold plunge, hot tubs, and of course a board form outdoor concrete kitchen. The architects design was unique in that it involved not only creating a concrete countertop but the supporting cabinet system was also concrete. Another challenging request was that it be monolithic and board formed as well. We and the client were very please with the end result and every piece of kitchen equipment fit perfectly.

We were asked to take on the challenge of making a 14’ kitchen island with an extra large sink opening, and two legs all in one piece. It weighed about 1000 lbs. and turned out to be a stunning engineering feat and a center piece for this amazing desert mountain home. We also made custom bathroom sinks for all their bathrooms. Yes it’s 100% concrete. This was a commissioned piece we did for a client in Fort Davis, Texas. At first glance it appears to be a table cloth draped over an antique metal base, but when you get closer and you begin to touch it becomes obvious it’s is a strong structural piece of concrete.

This client wanted a unique hand pressed technique and an integrated drain board for their newly added guest casita. This is exactly what we gave them and we also used a specialty sand to bring out a slightly different hue on the hand polished surface.
